I have owned Epsons before and they have all been trouble free, becoming obsolete before wearing out. I have had some other makes that have been absolute nightmares. This printer was so easy to setup my other half could do it. Fewer clicks to operate functions then other makes and the cartridges are the simplest to change that I've come across. It's reasonably fast, the duplex printing and energy efficiency makes this cheaper than most to run. It prints effortlessly from smart devices, my MAC and Windows computers. I'm impressed, especially if it doesn't cause me any heartaches after 12 months!!!
I have this printer from the start of the year and I am printing about 7000 to 8000 pages a month. The cost of printing from the wp4525 is just first class and anyone asking about a printer I am telling them about this one.
So, given that it's an excellent buy, these are the flaws I can find with it: The 2nd paper tray (that is included in the price, nice) doesn't lock to the main unit, so picking it up to move is slightly awkward. The LCD display doesn't have a menu item to show the ink levels
Very fast for office work. No problem with setup and wifi was easy to install. Good for photo printing but quality not quite up to the very high standard of true Epson photo printers. A very worthwhile purchase and can be highly recommended when price is considered.
